Brainstorming
Brainstorming is thinking. There is can helps you to think something topic or main idea with natural thinking. When your brain has worked, you can get idea to go out was easier you can wrote that. But if you got nothing to wrote, you do not have to hard thinking, you must relax and think, then you wrote down the topic although that is right or wrong.
Brainstorming techniques as follow:
Freewriting: when you freewrite, you must let your brain worked just flow, and put the pen in paper, then write down whatever were comes in your mind. You do not have to worry about the mistakes, like grammar, spelling or punction, you just wrote what are yourself things have.
Break down the topic into levels
In this case, there is have 3 ways;
The first, you just think the general topic. Second, for a specific subtopic. Third, for a single term or phrase.
For example all of that ways as follow:
Lazy
Dumb
Stupid
Listing/bulleting
For this technique, you just wrote of words or phrases of the topic, then you can make it like bullet from that words while make that a list. Example:
Lazy
Dumb
Stupid
Crazy
Poor
Dirty
There are 3 perspectives can helps you see it more completely from different way;
- Describe it, describe your subject for the topic.
- Trace it, the question to be related to the story of your subject.
- Map it, it is about the location and subject related to.
Cubing, can helps you to consider your topic subject, and your brainstorming should worked to approach the topic. As follow:
- Describe it, you must to describe the subject with your brainstorm in order to can get the good subject.
- Compare it, you must compare that before you can find out the good subject.
- Associate it, to be effective.
- Analyze it, analyze that subject just be careful for the perfect end.
- Apply it, if you feel that is the good subject to choose.
- Argue for and against it, this I the last directions it may can helps you to get the good topic.
Similes, in this technique, you can trained your brainstorming for answer the question.
Example:
…….. is/was/are/were…….
Try to fill that blank with many answer as possible as you can.
Clustering/mapping/webbing
In this technique, you can describe the words or phrases in form “map” or “web”.
Journalistic questions
In this technique you would use W5+H, there are: Who is the.., What is.., When is.., Where is.., Why is that.., and How is about..,
Thinking outside the box
When you are writing, there is you must make your brain think and experience.
Making Word Association and Stories Through Pictures
A. In this picture, looks a very sad sight of a starving child. The clothes was damaged and his body was dirty and shabby. He was eating leftover bread that fell on the ground. With his little hands to eat without thinking about what will happen next, never even occurred to her the next day he would eat anything or even he would not eat for the day of the next day. Order to survive from poverty, he was only able to search for leftovers and never give up praying and hoping for a miracle waiting for data from the God.
B. Different from the child in this image around, he is a rising star who was in the children enjoy doing by teenagers all over the. We can see how people admired him and liked him, because he has the talent to sing while dancing. But did he also was born from families who are able and lucky, so he can grow up to be someone who is talented.
That compare from pictures, we can draw the conclusion that the fate of the God indeed already twist. The journey of life would be wonderful if we continue to be grateful with what is given by god. There are times when we can, we must help each other fellow human beings, with the mutual love and help one another then the state will create a secure, comfortable and peaceful.
